Hello there! Welcome to my page!
I could talk about how much I love babies and photography…but you already know that, right?
Because, of course I do! Otherwise I wouldn’t do both babies & photography for a living.
Instead, how about I share with you five fun facts about me.
I am a Pacific NW transplant.
I was born & raised in Oregon. I pine for all things green & wet. The few rainy days here in the desert are like a little bit of heaven & home for me.
I am an instructor for Red Cross.
I have been certified to teach CPR and First Aid through Red Cross since 2005. So, if you start to choke during your photo session, never fear, I know what to do!
I am kind of a nerd…
My daughter is named after a video game character. True story! In college, my husband and I played a mmporg called World of Warcraft, also known as “WoW”. My character was an awesome mage named June. Now, my even more awesome firstborn daughter is also named June!
I am an avid gardener!
My first job here in Tucson was working for a plant nursery. I have been known to spend hours at “the plant store” (as my kids call it) shopping for the next special plant to add to my collection.
I have visited all 50 states.
My mom has a passion for road tripping, which she passed on to me. While growing up, she made it a family goal of ours to visit all of the National Parks & Monuments in the country. I am now as well versed in the pictographs of the desert southwest as I am the historic battlefields of the civil war. Awesome, right?
As a bonus, my love for photography was born during those long weeks on the road. It became apparent to me during our travels how valuable images are to history, memory, and storytelling.
