Cream & Purple Newborn Session – Nahla
According to Nahla’s Mom, Reyna. Miss Nahla’s name was chosen partially because it means “queen/princess” from it’s origins in Africa. And Mom’s name, Seyra means “queen”. They thought that that was a fun combination for Mom & Daughter to have. They also thought that name was beautiful regardless of meaning, and I couldn’t agree more! I think Nahla is a name that is as pretty as it is unique, and fits this sweet baby girl perfectly!
Plus, in my mind, you can’t go wrong using a name from my favorite move growing up was Disney’s The Lion King! Well…maybe not “Scar”. And as lovable as he is in the movie…I might give the side eye to “Pumbaa” as well. For those of you too young or old for this commentary…sorry I got off topic! Back to the baby!
Check out my favorite images from Miss Nahla’s cream & purple newborn mini session. Isn’t she the perfect little doll baby?! I love how you can see the curls in her hair already, even though it is still so short!
Mom really really wanted a couple of images of her older daughter with the new baby. Reyna wanted to get newborn images with her older daughter, but was unable to do so. Big sister was so excited to participate in the newborn photo session! And Reyna said that as long as I got these images of the two of them together, she would be thrilled. I think that they turned out beautifully. And both sisters look very pleased as well. Look at those smiles!
I hope that over the years these sisters’ bond in love grows strong.
